The design incorporates the letter “D” in both Arabic and English, representing Dubai’s identity as a globally connected maritime hub while maintaining strong local roots and cultural connection.

The logo also reflects the sail of a vessel — symbolizing movement, trade, connectivity, and the maritime heritage that continues to shape Dubai’s global outlook. The incorporation of red represents Dubai’s ambition and leadership, while the blue reflects the sea and the industry that remains central to the emirate’s economic growth and international trade position.
